Ingredients
Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Add sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
- Spread half of the brownie batter in the baking dish. Mix pecans, corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Pour over the brownie batter.
- Spoon the remaining brownie batter over the pecan pie filling. Bake for 40 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs in the center.
- Cool in the dish for an hour, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before cutting.
Notes
For the best flavor, use high-quality cocoa powder and consider toasting the pecans for an enhanced texture.
